Dear Members and Friends of Norway
December was a short month for INBC as most of our members left for the holidays. Yet we had two very good events for both new and old members.
Indomaguno, an Indonesian company specializing in Norwegian fish imports, invited our members to a complete tour of their facilities in Anchol. INBC members were invited to enter the 14000 pallet, fully automated, freezer warehouse which always maintains minus 25 degrees. The freezer tour was followed by hastily inspection of the deep freezer which maintains minus 50 degrees. After a complete operational tour were we introduced to their new butcher shop and Norwegian Sea Food retail store and enjoyed an outstanding seafood lunch, based on Norwegians and Japanese products.
Needless to say, the quality of their seafood was by far the freshest and best any of us had enjoyed in a long time.
INBC members were also graciously invited to a year-end holiday buffet at the residences of Ambassador Traavik and Madam Noor. The food was outstanding, while the company was both uplifting as both new and old members were introduced.
In addition would we like to announce and congratulate Lennart Stockman with his new position as the General Manager for Wilhelmsen Ships Services, after a successful tenure with Bogosari Mills and Indofood.
Zalora’s Managing Director, Magnus Grimeland was featured on AXN Asia Ebuzz in December, giving in in-depth analyzes about the Indonesian E-Commerce market.
We would also like to congratulate Poulina Rosjo, our Administrative Assistant and Kristian Rosjo with the birth of Edward, who was born healthy and loud on 12/18/13.
On behalf of the INBC Board; we wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
